Kick off your journey in Fort Lauderdale with a hike through a coastal mangrove forest and an evening of great food and poolside fun with your crew. The next day brings Everglades thrills with a private wildlife encounter, airboat ride, and a stop at the famous Robert Is Here Fruit Stand before the unforgettable experience of hand-feeding giant tarpon. By afternoon, you’ll arrive at Sea Base Islamorada, ready to launch into days of sailing, scuba, and adventure.

Your adventure starts as we head east a few miles for a hike through a salt water mangrove forest where we learn about the eco-system of South Florida and climb a fourstory observation tower for a breathtaking view of Ft. Lauderdale.
We will provide $20 per person and let the scouts dive into lunch at Marina Village! From tacos to pizza and gelato, there’s something tasty for everyone—plus waterfront views to enjoy while you eat.
Head to the hotel on the famous Ft. Lauderdale Beach!
Soak up the sun with a 2-hour beach party! Think volleyball, frisbee, football, wiffle ball, a group swim, and plenty of hang-out time. No gear provided, just good vibes at one of the prettiest beaches in South Florida.
Dinner time — full bellies and happy Scouts, whatever’s on the menu!
Spend the evening relaxing at the pool or just hanging out with your friends.

8:15 AM departure to Sea Base!
Along the way you will enjoy a guided visit to the Everglades Alligator Park where you will see over 2,000 alligators!
Private behind the scenes tour at Everglades Alligator Park. Your group will get to meet the alligators up close and help feed some of the larger gators which range in size from 6 to 10 feet! You might also get to handle a lemur, feed a giant gopher tortoise, or hold a 10 foot python. This experience is incredible!
After meeting the animals up close, your group will board an airboat for a private ride through the Everglades. Be on the lookout for gators and other wildlife as you zip across the world famous “River of Grass”.
Picnic lunch at the Alligator Park. Enjoy a boxed lunch under the tiki huts. You may also want to sample a Florida delicacy…fried alligator meat!
Quick stop at the world-famous Robert is Here Fruit Stand. Dating to 1959, this local outdoor fruit market has been in existence for over 60 years. Learn about and taste some of the native fruits as well as some rare and exotic fruits. Option to purchase a yummy milkshake made with ingredients grown right here on the farm. They are delicious!
Next will be an adventure you will never forget! You will see, up close and personal, hundreds of Tarpon ranging in size from 50 to over 100 pounds. Experience the thrill of a lifetime as you hand feed these massive game fish.
Arrive at Sea Base in the afternoon, check in with your crew, and get ready for the adventure ahead!
Depart Sea Base on the 8:30 AM Blue Sky Express.
