After arriving in Albuquerque, Scouts can relax at the hotel, enjoy poolside games or pickup basketball, and explore nearby restaurants. With all the essentials covered and no packed itinerary, it’s a low-stress option perfect for resting, resetting, and prepping before hitting the trail.
Arrive by 5 PM to begin your stay in Albuquerque! Welcome to New Mexico!
Pick up at the Albuquerque International Airport and transport to the hotel. Get your custom Blue Sky Adventures water bottle!
Check in at the hotel where there’s lots to do (pool, gift shop, computer center, fitness center, ping pong, and basketball).
Spend the afternoon poolside or play board games, ping-pong or basketball with your crew and other Scouts from all over the country--this is some Scout trip!
Dinner is on your own this evening—feel free to enjoy one of the many popular restaurants in the area! Whether you're craving something quick and casual or looking to sit down for a great meal, there are plenty of delicious options nearby to satisfy every appetite.
Enjoy some free time! Walk to the movie theatre, Dave & Busters, or pick up any last minute items you need for the trail. This is a terrific location!

Arrive Albuquerque International by 11:30 AM. Departure flight must leave after 1 PM.
