The Deluxe Adventure offers the perfect pre-trek combo of adrenaline and relaxation. After checking into a nearby hotel, head to Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America for unlimited rides and $15 to spend at any of the 50+ restaurants. Cap it off with a night swim at the hotel or one last coaster loop before retiring to a comfy bed. It’s a deluxe way to unwind, get excited, and bond before hitting the water trails!
Afternoon arrival at Minneapolis St. Paul Airport.
Board the light rail for the 10 minute train ride to our hotel! The train leaves from the airport and arrives within a short walk of our hotel.
Arrive at hotel and check in.
If you arrive early enough, there’s time to grab some lunch on your own or take a swim in the hotel pool!
At 4:30 PM we head to the world famous Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America! There are over 30 terrific rides and you will have unlimited access until 9:30 PM
At some point in the evening, take a break and eat at the restaurant of your choice. Each participant will receive $15 to spend as you choose in one of 50 restaurants!
Enjoy a few last minute rides or head back to the hotel for a swim. What a night!

Depart for Northern Tier in Ely, MN.
Eat lunch en route at the world famous Gordy’s Hi-Hat! Gordy’s delicious hamburgers were recently featured on the Food Network!
We will arrive at Northern Tier by 2:00 PM so you can begin your adventure! This is the recommended arrival time at Northern Tier.
Depart Northern Tier on the 8:00 AM Blue Sky Express.
Arrive at Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport by 1:00 PM. Departure flight must leave after 3 PM.
